Kaho & Tipu (what does it mean?)

Kohikohia ngā Kākano, whakaritea te pārekerke, kia puāwai ngā hua
(Gather the seeds, prepare the seedbeds carefully, and you will be gifted with an abundance of food.)

Our Tipu area caters for the younger children up to 2 ½ years of age. They are our “seedlings”.

The Kaho area is for preschoolers from 2 ½ years to starting school. They are “saplings”.

Each nurtured to grow and be confident and competent learners in a community that recognises we are unique and learn in our own way, as we are influenced by our community & environment.
