If your child requires medication while attending our centre, the medication will have to be given to a teacher and the information recorded. The staff can only administer medication with signed authorisation.
For on-going conditions that require regular medication such as asthma, eczema, epilepsy, diabetes, or allergic reactions, please talk to the staff about having an individual health plan on file.
Our ‘Illness Procedure‘ explains the guidelines we follow regarding unwell children. To protect the good health of all attending children and adults, any person sick will be sent home.
With vomiting or diarrhoea, the patient must be excluded from attending the centre for a minimum of 24 hours. For other infectious diseases please refer to the Ministry of Health guidelines.
