With the whanaungatanga jar full we planned an excursion to the Warren Street playground for “Daffodil Day”. the child were really responsible listening very carefully to instructions and looking out for one another.
The playground was a huge amount of great fun! The slides were a favourite. We all enjoyed a shared morning kai of pikelets with jam (yum!). These were especially prepared by the lovely Lions ladies of Wanaka to support the ANZ cancer society daffodil day fundraiser. Thank you to our families for their gold coin donations to this worthy cause. Thank you also to our wonderful parent helpers for helping to make excursions in our community an opportunity to extend exploration of our environment.
