Aspiring Beginnings acknowledges the Cancer Society “Daffodil Day”

Friday the 31st of August was Daffodil Day and to support this annual fundraiser we went on a walk up to the Memorial Monument. Once up there, our active tamariki enjoyed stories, roly-poly games, racing up and down the hills and a bit of “rock climbing”.

We got to enjoy delicious pikelets made by the lovely ladies from the LIONS CLUB who every year take over
the National Bank of Wanaka. Thank you to all the families for their gold coin donation to the Cancer Society.
We managed to raise $60 for a great cause!

Also a big thank you to all of the parent helpers, we couldn’t have done it without you!
