Click here to read our latest newsletter to be up to date with important information. This Thursday is “wear your Pyjamas” day. To celebrate Easter we are having an easter treasure hunt and the children have been busy making hot cross buns.
Have a wonderful Easter holiday. Remember our Fire Truck excursion is on the Tuesday after we reopen.
On Friday March 9th we plan to walk to the Wanaka Show grounds to see our art and baking on display as part of the A & P Show. The children have been very busy making plum chutney, tomato relish, mint sauce, crab apple jelly, book marks and a poster as well as harvesting the scrumptious vegetables from our garden. We have also been lucky to taste as Elizabeth uses these fresh ingredients in her meals.
We will leave ABs at 10am and enjoy a picnic lunch on Pembroke Park before returning by 12.30pm.
Tamariki please wear suitable footwear and your AB’s t shirt. Continue reading 'A&P Show Excursion'»
We love to share in the celebration of birthdays with the children. Parents can provide a simple cake to share at morning or afternoon tea OR alternatively give Elizabeth plenty of notice, and we can make a very reasonably priced cake for you. To support healthy eating habits we prefer to keep lollies or treats to a minimium and can support families with healthy food choices as an alternative. As we are a nut free centre all nut products will be sent home unopened.
Parents are most welcome to join us or leave cameras for us to record the celebrations.

Nick has been helping relieve at the centre on a regular basis and intends to study next year for a Diploma in ECE.
Welcome Nick to the team. We have enjoyed your innovative ideas and challenges for the tamariki.
As a special treat on Random Act of Kindness Day, Richard and Tracey
(who is also a teacher at the centre) brought in some samples of their delicious
Pure New Zealand icecream. Made right here in Wanaka and sold at Fresh
Mediterranean, Wanaka Butchery, Lonestar cinema and selected restaurants
or cafes in the area. Also available in a waffle cone from the Tarras store.
Yummy Yummy
